Terms and Conditions of Sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the subscriptions of businesses listed on Buildenzo.

1. Subject
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, hereinafter the ‘GTC’, set out the terms under which Buildenzo offers paid listing, visibility and presentation services on the Buildenzo platform to businesses in the construction sector.
Any subscription to a paid service implies the client company’s full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Services offered
Buildenzo offers construction companies a professional search engine optimisation service, which includes:
- creating a company profile;
- the display of the company’s trading name;
- the display of business contact details;
- the display of the trades practised;
- the display of the geographical area of operation;
- displaying a company description;
- the possible display of customer reviews;
- Buildenzo’s visibility in search results;
- the opportunity to be contacted by individuals looking for a building professional.
The exact services included depend on the package chosen by the company when it signs up.
4. Free access and subscriptions
When Buildenzo offers free access, verified businesses can use all services without a credit card or a paid subscription. Any potential switch to a paid service is presented to businesses and requires voluntary sign-up; no paid subscription is created automatically. The payment terms below apply only to paid subscriptions that have been taken out.
The prices and names of the available packages are those shown on the packages page before subscription. The second package includes access to published projects and the ability to submit proposals. Subscriptions are automatically renewed until cancelled via the billing area.
The available packages, their features, duration and prices are set out on the website’s pricing page or communicated to the customer prior to subscription.
Unless otherwise stated, the subscription provides access to the services for the selected duration. Any subscription period that has commenced is payable in full.
5. Price
Quotation prices are shown in euros, excluding VAT. Applicable taxes and the total amount payable are displayed by Stripe before payment is confirmed.
Buildenzo reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Changes to the price list apply to new subscriptions and accepted changes to existing plans. They do not automatically affect the price of existing subscriptions.
Promotions or introductory offers are valid only during the period specified and subject to the terms and conditions set out by Buildenzo.
6. Ordering and subscription
Businesses can sign up for a Buildenzo package via the website, via a registration form, through direct contact with Buildenzo, or by any other means provided.
The company must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Buildenzo may request further information or supporting documents prior to approval.
Buildenzo reserves the right to refuse an order or registration, particularly in the event of doubt regarding the identity of the business, the legality of its activities, the accuracy of the information provided or the suitability of the business for the platform’s purpose.
7. Payment
Payment is due in accordance with the terms specified at the time of subscription. Recurring payments and billing are handled via Stripe. Access is activated once payment has been confirmed and the company has been verified.
Access to paid services may be subject to payment actually being received.
In the event of a payment being declined, incomplete, cancelled or late, Buildenzo may suspend the activation or visibility of the business profile until the matter is resolved.
8. Invoicing
An invoice may be issued to the client company in accordance with the billing details provided. The company is responsible for the accuracy of its billing details.
Any errors in the billing information must be reported to Buildenzo as soon as possible.
Should there be any changes to the company’s legal information, the company must inform Buildenzo as soon as possible.
9. Verification of businesses
Buildenzo verifies businesses before they are listed on the platform to ensure its quality and reliability.
This review may cover, in particular:
- the company’s existence;
- business contact details;
- the declared business activity;
- consistency between the trades listed and the company’s business activities;
- the information provided during registration.
The verification carried out by Buildenzo does not constitute an absolute guarantee of the future quality of the services provided by the company.
10. Publication of the company profile
The company profile is published following approval by Buildenzo, subject to payment of the chosen subscription, where applicable, and to the information provided being in order.
Buildenzo may refuse, amend, suspend or remove any content that is incomplete, misleading, unlawful, contrary to these Terms and Conditions, or likely to damage the platform’s reputation.
The company authorises Buildenzo to display on the platform the information necessary for its presentation, including its trading name, business contact details, description, areas of expertise, location and, where applicable, its logo or images.
11. Obligations of the client company
The company undertakes to:
- provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information;
- Do not impersonate another company;
- to carry out one’s business lawfully;
- comply with the rules applicable to their professional sector;
- Do not publish content that is misleading, abusive, discriminatory or unlawful;
- respond professionally to enquiries received via Buildenzo;
- respect individuals, customers and users of the platform;
- Do not attempt to manipulate reviews or ratings;
- Do not use Buildenzo to send spam or unauthorised advertising.
The company remains solely responsible for the services it offers and provides to private individuals.
12. Termination, suspension and deletion
The terms of cancellation depend on the package subscribed to and the chosen subscription period. Unless otherwise stated, any subscription period that has already commenced remains payable.
Buildenzo may suspend or delete a company’s profile in the event of:
- non-payment;
- false information;
- activity not in line with the platform’s purpose;
- abusive behaviour towards users;
- attempts to manipulate reviews;
- damage to Buildenzo’s reputation or security;
- breach of these General Terms and Conditions or the General Terms of Use.
13. Refunds and the right to cancel
Builenzo’s services are primarily aimed at businesses and professionals. The withdrawal rules applicable to consumers do not necessarily apply to contracts concluded between professionals.
Should a subscription be subject to a specific legal regime, Buildenzo will apply the mandatory rules laid down by Belgian law.
Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, no refund is due once the service has been activated, the profile has been prepared, verified or published, or the subscription period has begun.
14. Buildenzo’s liability
Buildenzo acts as a listing and matching platform. Buildenzo is not a party to any contracts entered into between private individuals and the listed companies.
In particular, Buildenzo cannot be held liable for:
- the quality of the work carried out by a contractor;
- delays, defects, poor workmanship or disputes relating to a building project;
- quotes, prices or commitments made by a company;
- inaccurate information provided by a company;
- a lack of enquiries or contacts generated by the platform;
- temporary unavailability of the website;
- in the event of force majeure or a technical problem beyond its control.
Buildenzo does not guarantee a minimum level of visibility, enquiries, clients or turnover for client companies.
15. Intellectual property
The name Buildenzo, the logo, the text, graphic elements, interfaces, features and content created by Buildenzo are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Any unauthorised reproduction, copying, modification, extraction or use of the platform’s content is prohibited.
The company guarantees that it holds the necessary rights to the content it submits to Buildenzo, including text, logos, photographs and visuals.
16. Personal data
As part of its services, Buildenzo may process personal data relating to businesses, their representatives and users of the platform.
These procedures are described in the Terms and Conditions of Use and the information pages available on the website.
17. Amendment to the Terms and Conditions
Buildenzo may amend these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to the service, legislation or its business model.
The applicable Terms and Conditions are those in force at the time of subscription or subscription renewal, unless otherwise required by law.
18. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action. If no amicable agreement can be reached, the competent courts shall be those designated in accordance with the applicable rules in Belgium.
